Why brands move
Why brands move from WooCommerce to Shopify
WooCommerce is flexible, but the store, hosting, security and plugins are all yours to maintain.
Hosting and security included
Shopify runs the servers, updates and security, so there's no hosting plan or core update to manage.
A checkout built to convert
Shopify Checkout with Shop Pay and accelerated payment options, with no checkout plugins to maintain.
Room to grow
Apps from the Shopify App Store, Shopify Markets for selling abroad, and Shopify Plus when you need it.
What we migrate
Everything that matters moves with you
We map every data type before we move it, then test with a trial import you can check.
| Data | What moves | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Products & variants | Titles, descriptions, images, SKUs, prices, options, inventory | Variant options are rebuilt to fit Shopify's structure |
| Categories | Collections, with rules or manual order | Tags are kept for filtering |
| Customers | Names, emails, addresses, marketing consent | Passwords can't be moved; customers set a new one by invite |
| Orders | Historical orders for reporting and customer history | Imported as archived orders |
| Content | Blog posts, pages, images | Links inside content are updated |
| Reviews | Product reviews | Imported through your chosen reviews app |
| SEO | Page titles, meta descriptions, image alt text, 301 redirects | Every old URL points to its new page |

FAQ
WooCommerce migration questions
Will I lose my Google rankings?
Not if the migration is planned properly. We redirect every old URL, move page titles and descriptions, and check Search Console after launch.
How long does a migration take?
It depends on the size of your catalogue and how much custom work is involved. You get a timeline with your migration plan.
Can customers keep their passwords?
No platform can move passwords securely. Customer accounts move across, and customers set a new password from an invite email.
Will my store go offline?
No. Your WooCommerce store stays live while we build and test on Shopify. We switch over only when everything is checked.
Do you migrate from Magento and Wix too?
Yes, along with other platforms. Each migration follows the same audit, mapping and testing process.
