The challenge
Most shoppers don't buy on their first visit. They browse, compare, and leave, often intending to come back. Without a way to save products, that intent disappears the moment they close the tab, and merchants have no idea which products people actually wanted.
Merchants told us the wishlist apps they tried had three common problems:
- Interaction limits that capped how many wishlist actions a store could handle
- Poor theme fit, with buttons and pages that looked out of place
- No follow-up, meaning saved products just sat there instead of bringing customers back
We set out to build a wishlist app that solved all three.
Our approach
We designed SE Wishlist Engine around one idea: a wishlist should not just store products, it should bring customers back to buy them.
Customers can save products with a single click from product pages and directly from collection pages, without interrupting their browsing. Guest wishlists let shoppers save items without creating an account.
A central page where shoppers can manage saved items and share their wishlist with friends and family.
Automatic email reminders plus price-drop, restock, and low-stock alerts notify customers at the moment they are most likely to buy.
Reports show which products are wishlisted most and who saved them, and wishlist activity is attributed to conversions and revenue so merchants can see the app's return on investment.
Buttons, icons, and pages are fully customizable, and our support team helps adapt the styling to each store's theme.
